How to add a payment gateway to your website
Step 1:
Login to your website or if you are already logged in proceed to step 2
Step 2:
Select Outlets/Plates from the horizontal top menu.
Step 3:
Go to plugins in the dashboard then search for: paypal currency converter basic for woocommerce then select Insert Now then Activate
Step 4:
Go to woocommerce in the dashboard then setting
Step 5:
Select payments scroll down and type in your paypal’s title, description, and email.
scroll down and type in your paypal’s title, description, and email.
Then remove the check on enable paypal sandbox checkbox and check the enable logging checkbox
Then scroll down and type in the receiver email
Go to your profile on the payment gateway website to get your API credentials:
– Live API username
– Live API password
– Live API signature
If you are connecting with paypal as your payment gateway then follow this step by step guide to get the API credentials : https://www.paypal.com/c2/webapps/mpp/integrating-ecommerce-api?locale.x=en_C2
Then insert the credentials in their slots
Step 6:
Press the save changes button to save your changes
Then go to the checkout page in your website to confirm that the payment gateway has been activated
